Before You Check In
At Kamp K9, your pet’s health, comfort, and safety are our top priorities. To help make their stay as smooth and stress-free as possible, please review the following guidelines before your furry friend checks in for boarding, daycare, or grooming.
Health & Wellness Requirements
All pets must arrive free of contagious illnesses, fleas, ticks, or internal parasites to ensure the safety of every guest at Kamp K9.
If your pet requires medication during their stay, it must be clearly labeled by your veterinarian. We cannot administer medications without proper instructions from your vet.
When scheduling your reservation, please let us know if your pet requires special handling or daily medications (medication charge is $3/day) so we can provide the best care possible.
Belongings
To make your pet feel right at home, you’re welcome to bring along familiar items. Just be sure everything is clearly labeled with your pet’s name.
- Food should be pre-portioned and labeled with instructions and your pet’s name.
- Bedding must be machine washable and clearly marked with your pet’s name.
- Toys or comfort items should be marked with your pet’s name.
Please note that Kamp K9 is not responsible for personal items brought during your pet’s stay.
🐶 Canine Boarding, Grooming & Daycare Requirements
We’re excited to welcome your dog to Kamp K9! To keep our four-legged guests happy and healthy, please ensure the following requirements are met before check-in:
Additional Requirements
- Bordetella.
- DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus).
- Rabies.
🐾 Puppies: Ideally all puppies will have completed all three rounds of DAPPv vaccinations before attending Kamp K9 to ensure they are fully protected. Please contact us with any special circumstances or puppies that are too young to have completed the series.
Vaccinations Required
- Spay/Neuter: All dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered.
- Leashes: For safety, all dogs must enter and exit the facility on a leash.
- Pest free: All pets will be checked for fleas and ticks and treated if they are found.
- It is strongly recommended that all cats and dogs in this area be kept on heartworm prevention year round. As heartworm prevention also prevents intestinal parasites all pets not on heartworm prevention must have had a recent fecal or deworming.
🐱 Feline Boarding Requirements
We’re happy to host our feline guests in a calm, comfortable environment. To keep every cat healthy and relaxed, please ensure these requirements are met:

- All cats must arrive and depart in a secure carrier or pet taxi for a smooth and stress-free transition.
Vaccinations Required
- Rabies.
- FVRCP (Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Panleukopenia).
- FeLV (Feline Leukemia).
